Denver weather: Hot, dry with wildfire smoke from Canada

Denver is still stuck in a quiet, warm weather pattern Thursday, but some storm chances are on the horizon for the weekend.

The high Thursday is 91 degrees, and the day will again be bright and sunny.

Some light wind between six and nine mph is possible Thursday afternoon, then the low Thursday night is 58 degrees.

Some areas in the high country and along the Wyoming border will have elevated fire danger, and a couple red flag warnings are likely.

Most eastern counties along the Nebraska and Kansas borders are also under an Air Quality Health Advisory due to wildfire smoke from Canada. The advisory states the smoke could reach moderate to heavy levels and could last through Thursday morning.
