Kate Middleton may never heal her rift with Prince Harry thanks to the Duke of Sussex's "snide" remarks.
The Princess of Wales has stood by her husband, Prince William, as tensions between the two brothers remain at an all-time high. But Kate has her own issues with her brother-in-law, who made some scathing allegations about her in his tell-all memoir, Spare.
Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said Harry's criticism of Kate will have left her "feeling hurt". She told The Sun: "When you think of the personal revelations, and I think you can call them snide remarks made about Kate in Spare, Harry broke the one rule and that is staying silent on family matters.

"While Kate and Harry used to be very, very close, there's been a complete breakdown of that relationship. I don’t think Kate does angry. I think it is more a case of feeling very disappointed, very let down and feeling hurt knowing that she had no right of reply – and Harry knew full well she had no right of reply."
Harry's memoir, released in January 2023, claimed Kate was "disgusted" when his wife, Meghan Markle, used her lip gloss. He also alleged the Waleses, then the Cambridges, had been "apparently upset that [he and Meghan] hadn’t given them Easter presents."
One of the most infamous rows between the two royal wives saw the pair bicker over Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress before the Sussexes' wedding in 2018, leaving one of the women in tears. While sources initially stated Kate had been the one to cry, Meghan hit back and said the "reverse" was true.

Harry dished the dirt about the notorious quarrel in the book, backing his wife's accountl. Meghan also reportedly told Kate she had "baby brain" while pregnant, with the Princess of Wales allegedly responding: "You talked about my hormones! We are not close enough for you to talk about my hormones!"
While Kate might be hurt by her in-law's hurtful comments, she hasn't shown it as of late. The princess has been spotted out in public on multiple occasions recently as she ramps up her official engagements across the country.
The future Queen was snapped grinning as she made a visit to the Royal Naval Station in Yeovilton, Somerset – her first appearance there as Commodore-in-Chief of the Fleet Air Arm, the Daily Star previously reported. Before that the princess was papped at HMP High Down, a Category C men's prison in Surrey.
There Kate spoke to lags who are being helped to overcome addiction by the charity The Forward Trust, of which she is a patron. She even stopped in the prison's on-site gourmet restaurant, The Clink, which trains inmates in the skills needed to join the hospitality sector.
But fans were quick to spot the princess had bandages binding her fingers, sparking fears for Kate's wellbeing. The concern prompted Kensington Palace to issue a statement confirming the future Queen had sustained a "small injury, nothing serious" while exercising on a trampoline.
