Iran threatens to unleash terrorists on Israel and says war is ‘inevitable’

Israeli Air Force release drone footage of damage around hospital

Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian warned Israel that it is “inevitable” that Iran’s proxies in the region will soon intervene in the war with Hamas, he said during an interview earlier this week.

Amir-Abdollahian said in his interview with Iranian state television on Monday: “Time is running out very fast. If the war crimes against the Palestinians are not immediately stopped, other multiple fronts will open and this is inevitable.”

The Iranian official met with terrorist leaders throughout the region earlier on Monday, speaking with the top political official of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, in Qatar, and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut.

Amir-Abdollahian said in the interview that this “resistance” has “their hands on the trigger.”

He said “preemptive action” was possible “in the coming few hours” because he would “naturally not allow the Zionist regime to do whatever it wants in Gaza.”

Echoing his sentiment, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria tweeted on Tuesday night: “Time is up.”

Both ominous warnings come after the bombing of a hospital in Gaza City, which was immediately blamed on a strike by Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

But the IDF has claimed that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) – a terrorist group operating within the Gaza Strip – caused the blast when it misfired a rocket.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry wrote in an official statement: “On October 17, at around 19:00, the PIJ fired a missile salvo toward Israel.”

The statement continued: “One of the missiles misfired, landing on the al-Ahli hospital in Gaza, causing severe damage, killing at least several Palestinians and injuring many more.”

The IDF also released a recording as proof of what they say are Hamas terrorists acknowledging the blast was caused by a misfired PIJ rocket.

The claims that the IDF targeted the hospital have caused outrage throughout the Middle East, with anti-Israel protests erupting throughout the region.
