A man accidentally drove off without his wife for a hundred miles while travelling through Thailand.
Thinking she was still asleep in the back seat, Boontom Chaimoon, 55, hopped back in the vehicle after stopping for the toilet and continued the journey.
Little did he know, his wife Amnuay, 49, had also crept out for a comfort break and hadn’t made it back in time.
The couple were driving on Christmas Day to her hometown in the province of Maha Sarakham.

After Amnuay returned from the jungle to the road, Boontom dashed off in the Isuzu pickup truck.
Without money or her mobile phone, which she left in the car, Amnuay had to walk thirteen miles down the street until reaching a police station in at 5am in Kabin Buri.
Amnuay couldn’t recall her husband’s phone number, so instead rang her own mobile (in the car with Boontom) about twenty times with the police’s help. Sadly, Boontom didn’t notice it and continued to drive on.
