Spread out across for area of the city the market offers food stalls, craft workshops and an ice rink.
The celebrations spill out into Craiova’s main streets and squares.
A magnificent Christmas tree stands in front of the Town Hall in Mihai Viteazul Square, at the heart of the city, creating a central focal point.

Shakespeare Square, known as the city’s cultural hub with landmarks such as the National Theatre and the University, has white lights adorning trees, a charming carousel, and enticing street-food options.
On weekends from 6pm to 8pm, the Old Town and Fraţii Buzești Square host concerts, shows, and exhibitions.
