Distressing images have been released which Israel says show children’s teeth recovered from a kibbutz targeted by Hamas gunmen.
Four pictures were shared on X, formerly Twitter, by Israeli Government spokesman Eylon Levy, who told followers they showed the teeth of youngsters killed in Hamas‘s attack in Kibbutz Be’eri on October 7.
More than 1,400 people died on the Israeli side during Hamas’s bloody attack, with reports at least 40 babies and children are among the dead.
Mr Levy, in a comment alongside the images he shared on Tuesday (October 31), said: “These are the murdered Israeli children of Kibbutz Be’eri. They were tortured, dismembered, and then burned to death. Archaeologists are sifting through the rubble to find their teeth.
“This was Hamas’ October 7 Massacre.”

It is not the first time Israel has released images linked to the deaths of children, with Tel Aviv showing US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and NATO defence ministers graphic images of dead youngsters and civilians days after the initial attack.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office also released a picture of a dead infant in a pool of blood and the charred remains of a child in the wake of Hamas’s atrocities.
The latest conflict between Israel and Hamas has also cost the lives of 8,525 Palestinians, according to the Hamas run Gazan Health Ministry.
Two thirds of the total are believed to be women and children killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, Israeli airstrikes on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza is reported to have killed at least 50 people and wounded 150.
Footage from Al-Jazeera TV showed at least four large craters where buildings once stood, amid a large swathe of rubble surrounded by partially collapsed structures.
Dozens of rescue workers and bystanders dug through the wreckage, searching for survivors with men seen carrying the limp forms of two children from the upper floors of a damaged apartment block.
It was unclear whether the children were alive or dead.
The Israeli military said it carried out a wide-scale strike in Jabalia, targeting Hamas infrastructure. It added the strikes killed a large number of Hamas militants, including Ibrahim Biari, who it said oversaw operations in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
