Aurora police are investigating after a 20-year-old was shot and killed Sunday night.
Police responded around 6:20 p.m. to a call of a shooting at a residence in the 1500 block of South Galena Way, authorities said in a blog post. Officers then found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transferred to the hospital, where he later died, police said.
Witnesses told police that the victim, identified by the coroner as Amacris Xavier Harlan, had been in an altercation with multiple people inside the home.
