According to the InterNations Expat Insider survey, Rome is the worst city in the world for British expats looking to work abroad.
Only one in 10 expats thought the job market in the Italian capital was good compared to 47 percent globally.
More than a third of expats surveyed said that moving to Rome hadn’t improved their career prospects while people also felt they didn’t have much job security.
One American expat told the survey: “The job market is very difficult to navigate, especially if you’re older than your 30s.”
