But perhaps Norfolk’s most striking and atmospheric winter destinations are outside the main seaside towns and resorts.

Blakeney is a quaint village on the coast that’s the perfect place to rent a cosy cottage in winter.
Tourists can explore the area’s unique marshes or head to see the seal colony at Blakeney National Nature Reserve.
The Reserve is home to England’s largest grey seal colony and children will love the boat trips which give a glimpse of the population from the water.
