Paphos in Cyprus was the leading destination for British expats looking for a new lifestyle or a holiday home.
Christopher said: “Paphos is a captivating city known for its historical significance, so there’s no wonder so many people are looking to buy a second home or relocate here.
“Divided into Ktima and Kato Paphos, there’s plenty for history buffs to see and do. From ancient ruins, including Roman villas with exquisite mosaics and an impressive amphitheatre, to the renowned Tombs of the Kings.

While Spain is usually the leading destination for British expats, only one Spanish region made the list.
Sunny Andalusia is home to popular cities such as Malaga and Seville and has a sizeable British expat community.
