A shocking video has captured the moment a drunken man got into a massive fight with cops after being told to get off a plane.

The man was caught on camera scrapping with several officers after he was asked to leave the flight. He was on a trip from Barranquilla in Colombia to Miami, USA, on December 17 when he started arguing with someone else on board.

The crew thought he was too rowdy and said he had to go. The plane at Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport was held up while police sorted out the tipsy traveller.

In a video, you can see the man, who's from Poland, getting taken through the plane by Colombian police as people watching have a laugh and make noise. Yells of: "F*** you, you mother f***er," can be heard.

The man gets mad and tries to have a go back but the police stop him. Then he seems to hit out at the cops and ends up on the floor when he is restrained.

The police said later: "A police report has been opened concerning a passenger…of Polish nationality. He was overexcited and apparently in a state of dismay and therefore our uniformed officers politely asked him to disembark the aircraft.

"He reacted in an aggressive manner and attacked the uniformed officers. He was restrained and subsequently placed under arrest."

The police revealed: "One uniformed officer sustained injuries to his face and right hand and is currently being treated by medical professionals." Authorities confirmed that the chap now faces a legal battle at the Attorney General's Office in Soledad for charges related to harmful activities against public officials.
