This is the moment a model known as 'Naked Girl', who has made her name campaigning for the right for women to wear what they want, was confronted as she walks along a packed street in Istanbul, Turkey.

Social media content producer Melisa Aydinalp was filming herself parading along a city centre street and carrying a sign saying 'Freedom For Breasts' while wearing racy underwear on December 10. It would take a lot to miss the eye-popping outfit of a black mirco bra, matching thong and transparent mesh, but Aydinalp blew a whistle regularly just in case.

One particularly affronted passer-by confronted her and ripped away the homemade poster she had in her hands. The man also got into a heated row with Aydinalp.

A video shows how the man snatches the poster from her hands as he walks off and sends it flying to the pavement. The ugly scene draws a crowd of people who start to film the pair having their brief but rowdy argument.

Before getting her sign ripped out of her hands by the angry man, Aydinalp drew puzzled looks from spectators, including an older woman who was seen looking concerned and tilting her head at the model.

Aydinalp recently made headlines when she was charged over "indecent behaviour" and "exhibitionism” in Istanbul's Bagdat street after parading around in a black bikini in a previous protest.

According to the Turkish penal code, this can be punishable by up to a year in prison, but Aydinalp escaped this on the condition that she attend a public library twice a week to read books on morality and social values.

At the time of writing, it is unknown if she was arrested over her latest display of freedom fighting.
