    A huge mystery blaze ripped through a UK airport's car park, destroying 11 vehicles after an "accidental ignition".<\/p>\n

    Huge plumes of black smoke were seen billowing from Bristol Airport's Silver Zone car park this morning (December 10) as crews from Avon Fire and Rescue Service and the airport wore breathing apparatus and tackled the fire together. <\/p>\n

    No injuries have so far been reported but the extent of the damage sustained by the vehicles ranges between 20 and 100%, with four or five of them "completely destroyed".<\/p>\n

    Crews managed to extinguish the blaze by around 12pm but questions now arise to how it started.<\/p>\n

    Avon Fire and Rescue has said the fire is not being treated as suspicious as it appears to have been caused by "accidental ignition". <\/p>\n

    A spokesperson for the service praised Bristol Airport's crew for their "good assistance" in dealing with the fire.<\/p>\n

    In a video smoke can be seen rising up into the sky as fire engines rush to attend the scene. A spokesperson for Bristol Airport said that the runway was closed "for a short time as a safety precaution", but has now reopened.<\/p>\n
