A former WWE legend turned adult star has been jailed after being declared a “danger to society”.

Tammy "Sunny" Sytch has been jailed for 17 years for her involvement in a car crash which killed a 75-year-old man. At the time her blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit.

Three months ago the 50-year-old pleaded guilty to the counts against her, including one count of DUI manslaughter. Today she apologised to the victim’s family as she was sentenced.

Sytch, a WWE Hall of Famer, crashed her Sedan into the vehicle driven by victim Julian Lasseter. Mr Lasseter was stopped at a red light in Florida, US at the time.

Police said her blood alcohol level was over three times the legal limit. She has been behind bars since March 2022 with court rulings labelling her as a "danger to society".

Today, she was handed a 10-and-a-half-year sentence for driving with a suspended license causing death and another seven years for DUI manslaughter. She was also handed eight years probation and her driving license has been revoked for good, as reported by MailOnline.

She appeared in the court handcuffed and wearing an organ jumpsuit. Sytch broke down crying as she addressed the victim's family.

She said: “I know my words are not enough but please know that I think about you every day. I have done something horrible, but I am so much more than the worst that I have done. I try and think about the good I have done because when I sit alone and think about what I did to the Lasser family that tragic day, from a stupid decision, I feel the regret and remorse deep inside my soul.

“I know they don't get to rest knowing he is gone. When I was 20, I lost my father as well to heart disease and just last August, my 87-year-old mother passed away while I have been incarcerated. I never got to say goodbye to her, just as they didn't get to say goodbye to their beloved family member.”

The Daily Star previously reported how legal issues for the former Road Warriors valet began back in 2012 when she was arrested five times in just four weeks. She served 114 days in jail in Connecticut in 2013 after being arrested for assaulting her boyfriend and then violating parole conditions.

During that first spell in jail, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer and treated while in prison. In 2019, a bench warrant was issued for her in February that year and she was arrested in New Jersey later that month. She spent a year in prison for DUI and other driving offences.

When she was released, she turned to OnlyFans to make money and had previously turned to the adult entertainment industry for work – in 2016 she starred in the adult film 'Sunny Side Up'.
