A teenager has been left traumatised after watching her mum get sucked into a meat grinder by her hair in a horrific accident.<\/p>\n

The mum, who has been identified only as Ana, was believed to have been cleaning the machine at the time of the shocking incident. The tragedy occurred at a butcher shop in Missolonghi in western Greece.<\/p>\n

Ana, 50 and originally from Albania, and her 18-year-old daughter were employed together as cleaners. According to local media, Ana was pulled into the machine by her hair.<\/p>\n

When her hair was caught in the device, she was pulled in and fatally mangled while her unnamed daughter watched in horror. It's believed to have happened on September 29.<\/p>\n

Local media reported that Ana's daughter ran to the street and started to shout to people to help her mother. A passer-by entered the store and discovered the horrific scene.<\/p>\n

The police, an ambulance and the fire brigade rushed to the scene but there was no chance of pulling her free, and the operation to free her from the machine took hours, and was only finished just before midnight.<\/p>\n
