Why is October so unseasonably warm?<\/h3>\n
Mr Dale said the heat is drifting up from south western Europe which is causing temperatures to push up to unseasonable highs for the time of year.<\/p>\n
The weather author said it is hard to pinpoint an exact reason as to why October is almost posing as a late-summer month, as opposed to the start of autumn.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He added: “It is always hard to differentiate between simply unusual weather, climate change topped weather or an El Ni\u00f1o influence, it is likely a bit of all three.”<\/p>\n
El Ni\u00f1o was officially declared back in July by the World Meteorological Organisation who said the oscillation was the first in seven years.<\/p>\n
It said the heating up of the tropical Pacific was “setting\u00a0the stage for a likely surge in\u00a0global temperatures\u00a0and disruptive weather and climate patterns.”<\/p>\n
