Hotels and resorts in Maui are looking to jump-start the island’s tourism recovery with special promotions and programming. The following are a few examples:

The Hana-Maui Resort, located in the historic town of Hana, is offering 15% off all stays, with the property expressing gratitude to travelers “for being a part of our recovery with your support of responsible travel to Maui.”

In South Maui, the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort is promoting a “Sunshine On Sale” fifth night free. The deal includes daily complimentary breakfast for two adults at the resort’s Ka’ana Kitchen.

The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has rolled out a Maui Strong offer, through which guests can dedicate a portion of their resort stay to local recovery efforts. Under the offer, which is available for reservations through Dec. 15, guests can contribute up to $200 for each night of their stay, with all donated funds directed toward the Hawaii Community Foundation’s Maui Strong Fund.

The Four Seasons has also launched a series of Love for Lahaina pop-up culinary events, which are being held every Sunday during October. The pop-ups will showcase dishes created by Lahaina-based restaurants and chefs, with funds raised by the events benefiting hospitality workers and farmers directly impacted by the West Maui wildfires.
