Welsh Tory leader Andrew RT Davies has said Mark Drakeford\u2019s hated 20mph road speed limit is part of a wider \u201cextreme ideology\u201d hitting Welsh citizens.<\/p>\n
The energetic leader blasted the Welsh Government as \u201cout of touch\u201d, saying the Government is a warning about what Sir Keir Starmer will do if he wins the next general election.<\/p>\n
The Labour leader previously boasted that the Welsh Government is his \u201cblueprint\u201d for the UK.<\/p>\n
Andrew RT Davies said the contrast between Rishi Sunak\u2019s recent pro-motorist announcements and the Welsh Government \u201ccouldn\u2019t be more stark\u201d.<\/p>\n
He said: \u201cRather than take a common sense approach, they\u2019re motivated by extreme ideology.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n A poll for ITV Wales revealed that just 33 percent of people support the policy, versus 61 percent opposed to it.<\/p>\n The petition, which has received over 440,000 backers, has become \u201cby far\u201d the most signed in the history of the Welsh Parliament.<\/p>\n Mr Davies also slammed Mr Drakeford for a number of other key Welsh Labour policies, including banning all major new road-building policies.<\/p>\n He also blasted Welsh Labour\u2019s pledge to hand \u00a31,600 to illegal migrants as \u201cextreme\u201d.<\/p>\n Similarly, the Welsh Labour First Minister came under fire for wanting to send \u00a3126million on expanding the number of assembly members by 36.<\/p>\n He said it was an \u201cextreme ideology\u201d from Labour.<\/p>\n
