A woman is filing a lawsuit against Disney World after claiming a waterslide gave her a wedgie so bad she suffered "genital bleeding".

The alleged injury was caused after Emma McGuinness, 30, slid down the Humunga Kowabunga waterslide at Typhoon Lagoon Attractions, part of Disney World in Florida.

Emma claims that she hit the water at a staggering speed of 40mph, which caused several painful injuries.

There celebrating her 30th birthday with her family, the mum decided to go on the slide with her daughter and mother.

The official lawsuit read: "The impact of The Slide and her impact into the standing water at the bottom of The Slide caused Ms. McGuinness’ clothing to be painfully forced between her legs and for water to be violently forced inside her.

"She experienced immediate and severe pain internally and, as she stood up, blood began rushing from between her legs."

Emma’s alleged injuries caused intense pain and genital bleeding, which then ruined her expensive family holiday.

While thousands of others have enjoyed the slide with no injuries, the lawsuit states that there are specific risks on the attraction which should have been disclosed to the public.

It claims that the rush of water at the bottom of the slide is strong enough to push loose garments into the person. It then states that a woman’t anatomy makes the ‘wedgie’ even more painful than they are for men.
