Harley-Davidson has launched two new affordable bikes in Japan, the X350 and X500. Both bikes are based on the Benelli Leoncino.

Harley-Davidson X350 and X500 have been produced in collaboration with China-based Qianjiang. Their styling is said to be inspired by the XR100X. Both models feature a circular LED headlamp, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a short tail section.

Besides the chassis, the bikes also share their engines with the Leoncino. The X350 is powered by a 353cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that makes 36 BHP and 31 Nm, while the X500 uses a 500cc unit that puts out 47 BHP and 46 Nm. The bikes are equipped with an upside-down front fork and a monoshock at the rear. Both models get disc brakes at the front and rear.

The Harley-Davidson X350 and X500 compete with the Honda Rebel in the Japanese market. The company is unlike to introduce them in India.
