The previous \u20182\u2019, \u20183\u2019 and \u20184\u2019 trim structures were ditched to help streamline the production and delivery process for its large SUV.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.autoexpress.co.uk\/image\/private\/s--qI5Au_uH--\/f_auto,t_related-embed-mobile@1\/v1689351529\/autoexpress\/2023\/07\/Best%20large%20SUVs%20-%20July%202023%20header.jpg\">Top 10 best large SUVs to buy 2023<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Sorento \u2018Vision\u2019 features chrome and silver exterior details, rather than the black trim on Edition-spec models, while paint options include two exclusive colours: Gravity Blue and Steel Grey, neither of which have been offered in the UK before. LED headlights and a panoramic tilting\/sliding sunroof are both standard-fit, as is a powered tailgate.<\/p>\n<p>The cabin features black leather upholstery, eight-way power adjustable and heated driver and front passenger seats, plus a heated steering wheel. As you\u2019d expect, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto also come as standard, along with parking sensors for the front and rear, and a reversing camera.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vision models are equipped with almost all of the same safety features as the more expensive \u2018Edition\u2019 cars, with parking collision-avoidance assist and the hands-free remote parking system being the only exceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Both the Sorento \u2018Vision\u2019 and \u2018Edition\u2019 are available with a choice of diesel, full-hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrains, all of which come with all-wheel drive.<\/p>\n<p>The 2.2-litre diesel is the cheapest option available, starting from \u00a344,995 in \u2018Vision\u2019 trim, while the Sorento Hybrid is powered by an electrically assisted 1.6-litre T-GDi petrol engine and starts from \u00a346,495.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The plug-in hybrid Sorento uses the same engine, but features a much larger 13.8kWh battery that allows for a pure-electric range of up to 35 miles.
