The company posted a message on its website at 10.50pm last night stating: \u201cWe are aware that some Sky Broadband customers have been experiencing issues. Our engineers have now resolved this however, if you continue to experience issues please complete a power reset on your Sky Broadband Hub.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe apologise for any inconvenience caused.&quot; However, the apology was not good enough for many, as social media was flooded with complaints.<\/p>\n<p><b>READ MORE: Ultra-rare retro Nintendo &apos;duck hunting&apos; game being flogged on eBay for \u00a341k<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30982401.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/1_Sky-broadband.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p>One wrote: \u201cI wish @SkyHelpTeam would sort there dog s**t internet out, down every other tw****g day (sic).\u201d And a second commented: \u201cAdvert on sky tv for Sky Glass boasting how you don\u2019t need a dish when the only reason I\u2019m still watching tv is because I have a dish, because sky broadband is down across the country. Absolute sh** show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The outage came just 24 hours after millions were left without internet in the Lancashire region. The company confirmed on X\/Twitter that there was an outage impacting on the entire Lancashire region on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman said: \u201cThere is currently a Multiple Exchange Outage in the above area affecting Broadband, Talk and Fibre customers. \u201cWe are sorry for any inconvenience caused.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30982400.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/1_Stressed-Caucasian-businesswoman-using-cell-phone.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article30254285.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_Faster-download.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> UK&apos;s fastest broadband announced &#8211; and it&apos;s 44x times quicker than the alternatives<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Angry customers took to social media to confirm the issues, with many in Blackpool and the surrounding areas confirming the outage. And reports of network outages spiked on the Down Detector website at 8.20am, as users flocked to it to report issues.<\/p>\n<p>According to DD, the most reported locations without internet are Blackpool and Fleetwood, with users also reporting issues in Leeds, Birmingham, Bolton, Bristol, Manchester and Lees.
