<\/p>\nA pair of holidaymakers have demanded a refund after they claim they were sat next to a "snoring, farting" dog on their flight, The duo were flying for 13 hours and were enraged by the companionship of the stinky pooch.<\/p>\n
Gill and Warren Press were heading from Europe to New Zealand and were flying their first leg from Paris to Singapore. However while the pair had paid extra to fly premium economy they weren\u2019t exactly in the lap of luxury.<\/p>\n
Apparently, they were seated next to an emotional support dog. While it might be heaven for some it was hell for the pair apparently due to the pup\u2019s stench.<\/p>\n

Gill commented: "I heard this noise \u2013 a heavy snorting. I thought it was my husband\u2019s phone, but we looked down and realised it was the dog breathing. I said, 'I'm not having this sitting next to us the whole trip'."<\/p>\n
She claimed: "They couldn\u2019t have the dog out in the aisle because they couldn\u2019t get the trolleys through, so it had to come in further, which meant his head was under my husband\u2019s feet. My husband was in shorts, and was getting the dog\u2019s saliva goo on his leg."<\/p>\n

She said once more to a flight attendant that they should be moved, but the crew simply offered her the front of economy class where the crew sat. As they had paid for premium seating they didn't want this.<\/p>\n
The duo asked to be moved again but were informed that they could only be moved back into economy class. They didn\u2019t want this and so refused.<\/p>\n
But, she claims that the dog never stopped \u201cfarting\u201d throughout the flight. This made their journey less comfortable than they had expected.<\/p>\n
They claim they were told by staff that the incident would be noted on record. However, they heard nothing, allegedly, until they complained officially a week later.<\/p>\n
The duo allege Gill and her husband claim they were offered \u00a395 in travel vouchers each three weeks after they spent their time with the smelly dog. But, this didn\u2019t satisfy the pair. They say they\u2019re after a full refund on their flight.<\/p>\n

The duo apparently have not "received the experience we [they] paid for". Singapore Airlines told The Independent: "Singapore Airlines endeavours to notify customers who may be seated next to an assistance dog prior to boarding the flight. We sincerely apologise that this did not occur in this case, and will work with our airport teams to ensure that this lapse does not occur in future."<\/p>\n
It's not the first time an animal has caused havoc on a flight. In June, a TikTok poster \u2013 Madison Flores @diet.bean \u2013 shared a 13-second clip that gained over 9million views. In the video, a one-eyed ginger cat can be seen exploring the plane\u2019s galley. The cute little cat slinks around on the floor sniffing at various trolleys and drawers before lying back down to relax in its newfound spot.<\/p>\n
The cat did have a collar on, but many commenters questioned how a cat got onto the plane. Especially as it doesn\u2019t have thumbs to hold a boarding pass!<\/p>\n
Not visible on the camera, a member of the flight crew can be overheard asking passengers to check if "your cat is not in your bag\u201d. Some airlines do allow pets to travel with their owners in the main cabin so long as they are kept in a carrier.<\/p>\n
Thankfully, the owner was identified as they realised their kitty has snuck out of their bag.<\/p>\n
