Car owners may never have noticed a nondescript button in their car that could prove very useful. This button, positioned in different locations depending on the car model, plays a crucial role in detecting nearby vehicles that may be unseen to the driver.<\/p>\n
The blind spot monitor button activates a function that alerts drivers when other cars are present in hard-to-spot areas surrounding their vehicle.<\/p>\n
An expert shed light on the whereabouts of this life-saving button. Bianca, a Lexus employee, shared valuable insights in a YouTube video, guiding drivers on how to locate the button near the steering wheel.<\/p>\n
Bianca explained: “Look for a button labeled BSM. Once you press it and the green light illuminates, the blind spot monitor is now active.”<\/p>\n

To find the BSM or blind spot monitor, navigate to the right side of your steering wheel where you will find the arrow buttons.<\/p>\n “Press the right arrow until you access the settings menu. Scroll down using the bottom arrow until you come across BSM.
