Denver police are looking for a man accused of first-degree murder in connection to a shooting from earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The Denver Police Department published a bulletin on social media asking members of the public to help investigators find the suspect 28-year-old Christopher Roel Hernandez related to a fatal shooting the night of Aug. 8 at West Cedar Avenue and South Federal Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The shooting that left one man dead occurred outside at about 9:40 p.m. in the 200 block of South Federal Boulevard. It involved two people, but police declined to comment further on the circumstances surrounding the shooting, citing the ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified the victim as 46-year-old Jason Perry, a longtime DJ who was shot while working as a security guard at the Dandy Dan\u2019s Gentleman\u2019s Club.<\/p>\n

Authorities are asking for help in finding Hernandez and ask anyone with information about where he might be to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.<\/p>\n
