So we're here on the corner of Main Street. This is 1 Main Street where Las Vegas began. At that address is the Plaza Hotel and Casino, known for its glittering bright lights above its famous porte-cochere that's been the backdrop of famous movies and music videos. That well-known vintage Vegas facade got a. facelift with a modern twist. We call it the Reimagination of Main Street. You're here at this historic location and we wanted to bring it back the energy and give people a new option to come downtown and to be a part of this. The Main Street Reimagination involve four. projects with the centerpiece being the Carousel Bar. This circular bar might not spin like a carousel,. but sitting under the lights surrounded by the horses moving up and down, you might feel. like you're on the classic carnival ride. Where else can you sit under these famous. lights and have a drink and hang out? It's just, it's very iconic. So we kept the history with the light bulbs, but we gave people something new to do. This bar also features cocktails not found anywhere else on the property. And here's a little insider tip. If you're going to hit the Carousel Bar, make. sure to flip the drink menu over for a surprise hidden QR code and thank me later. The next new feature of the Reimagination, involves a 12-foot tall sweet treat. Walk under this massive donut, enter Pinkbox. Doughnuts like you've never seen, and choose from more than 70 varieties of doughnuts. These over the top doughnut creations fit.
right in with the color and energy of DTLV. Sit outside and enjoy fine dining under the Vegas lights. Another part of the project is an outdoor patio added onto Oscar's Steakhouse. The patio provides additional seating to the. usually packed restaurant and gives the unique option of fine dining outside. The final part of the Reimagination includes a new smoke-free casino. This casino features 75 brand new state-of-the-art gaming machines in this modern smoke-free environment designed by casino gaming influencer,. Brian Christopher. Very happy to be here right in the heart of Downtown Vegas. This space is a combination of all my favorite, slot machines that I've been known for and that my fans love. The Plaza as a whole is not going smoke-free,, but rather this new casino area gives people another option to game. And that smoke-free gaming is something you, won't find anywhere else in Downtown Las Vegas. Another unique feature to this project, outdoor. video poker. People that haven't seen it for a few years are like, "Was this always here? Was this always meant to be here?" And that's kind of what I want. I didn't want people to feel like it felt out of place. It feels like it was always here and that's what I wanted to go for. And so far a lot of positive reactions. The Plaza didn't want to necessarily change
its facade, but instead give it a facelift, seamlessly combining old and new. And we feel that with the Plaza, that's something we've been successful in doing, which is taking an old property. It's been here 50 years since 1971. It's a big part of history and how do you, make something that's a part of history, relevant, fresh, clean, new, but still keeping some. of that history? And I think we found that good balance. And to the critics, Jossel says. Whether you love it or you hate it, that's okay as long as you talk about it and take photos of it and tell everyone about it. Of course this project itself is a big deal, but at the end of the day, Jossel says it's all about taking care of their customers. And you got to give people a good experience. And I think we're doing a great job with that, here. That sense of familiarity that we specialize, in. The Reimagination of the Plaza is just the. latest in the constant evolution of Downtown Las Vegas. And Jossel is proud to be a part of that community. and be a part of that change. Yeah, I love being a part of Downtown because. you can make a difference. I don't know where else in the world, at least in the country, you could be such a part of a big change. And to see the way we've been able to reinvest. and change the face of Downtown has been a wonderful opportunity for us. So I love the community feel. Everyone's trying to make Downtown better.,
