What is going on Neon Nation and I’m back, yet again for another Cyberpunk 2077 News update. Very excited about this one, there is a lot of stuff to go over from an extensive preview from NightCityLife about some of the details that no one seemed to mention in their previews. Some new screenshots of the Valentinos, new weapon manufacturers and some sexually. explicit weaponry, some hints via Xbox on a 2077 related release possibly the next episode of Night City Wire, some more District lore featuring the bustling City Centre, and a, few other details I think you are going to want to check out! First up let’s check out some new screenshots from yet another sneak peak of the World of Cyberpunk 2077 Lore book to be released in, just around 2 weeks here. We have some brand-new images, new weapon, manufacturers and some new gang screenshots. On the first page we have my personal favorite element of the bunch the Midnight Lady Accessory cybernetic taser nipples. Now Midnight lady was a sexual augmentation, from the Cyberpunk 2020 source, and we have some details on a related accessory line with. the simple slogan of “surprise them.” If you’ve always dreamed of having electric. nipples, well this is a game for you. On the next page we have some images of Pacifica,, or what the corporations had planned for the district of Pacifica before it became a dangerous, slum. There’s also a map on the bottom right to. help you conceptualize where the districts actually are as well as some of the sub districts On the next page we have two of the gangs, the Voodooboys and the Valentinos. There is a really cool dreadlock, voodooboy. budget Morpheus in the top right with a concept art from the E3 2018 trailer, where in the. trailer the V-boys were replaced by Maelstrommers. On the bottom we have some details about the Valentinos which are not quite legible, and Along with that we have concept are which I know a ton of you are going to be all over. Lots of reds, golds, and crosses with the Valentinos and the guy on the bottom left even seems to have augmented his face to look, like a dia de los Muertos skull or even the devil. On the final page we have some images of the Mox on the top left, which we have seen most recently as well as the adverse effects of, what seems to be braindance on the top right. One of the more intriguing elements of this. sneak peak comes from the bottom right where we have all the weapon manufacturers in Cyberpunk. We already know about Arasaka who makes the. mantis blades amongst a myriad of other items, Militech, Kang Tao whose famous for the smart rifle, Malorian arms, who makes luxury custom made weaponry, Constitutional Arms,. as well as Darra and Budget Arms. Being added to the list is Tsunami, which, we have covered in a lore video who makes some of the most unique weaponry in the Cyberpunk universe, as well as 4 others, on is a Russian name, the bottom seems to say Rostovic, and, above is Nokota. The last one is super hard to tell but might. say midnight arms. It’s to be noted Pawel Sasko Lead quest designer mentioned a Russian weapon manufacturer who makes arms strictly for taking on Borgs, which might be who this particular manufacturer is. Again, this is all from the Cyberpunk 2077. lore book coming out on the 28th. Since I’ve had a couple questions on this,. yes, it is different than the compendium or art book from the Collector’s Edition. Moving on I know a ton of you guys are wondering. when the next Night City Wire is, and although Hollie Bennett mentioned a few weeks on the, 25th, we still don’t have a concrete date. We have a tweet from Xbox which might indicate a 2077 presence at the Xbox event at the end of the month which falls in line with the, couple of weeks mentioned for the next Night City Wire, so we may be seeing Cyberpunk in. around 10 days here. Xbox tweeted out their new Series X theme, for windows 10, with some folders in the background. Folders like Halo Infinite, xCloud and 2077, were shown here and devs are being quite cheeky about this folder hiding in the background so keep an eye out for the Xbox event on the 23rd. It’s possible if this episode of NCW is. shorter than before it’s part of the event, but I’ll keep you guys up to date as we get closer. Moving on we have the big kahuna, some amazing


details coming from Andre from NightCityLife a German fan site who got some hands-on time with Cyberpunk 2077. Big shutout to him for this article, as someone, who reads 2077 news and updates all day to keep track, this is a rare gem which has gotten, even me quite excited. Now we’ve covered a ton of Preview events,, so I’ll skip some of the repetition unless I can add more context to it with the help, of Andre’s expertly crafted article. Let’s jump right in. Starting off let’s talk about some of the Character Creator elements that no one else reported. Amongst the myriad of options Andre mentions. that the options for eyes in particular are pretty extensive. You can adjust the color of the iris, how, many vessels run in the whites of the eyes, as well as optics and eyeballs with things. like heart shapers, skulls, crosses and targets instead of the iris. We’ve mentioned pink teeth in prior videos,. but no one mentions gold teeth which Andre managed to spot in his playthrough. I’ve had a ton of question on if V can be a little chubbier or have a bodybuilding physique, or even just be skin and bones, but it seems, like due to V being a mercenary, slim or muscular are the only structures we will be allowed to pick for our personal character. Moving on the attributes will apparently affect dialogue and will open up individual dialogue options. The example given here was that if you have. a high-tech attribute, you might be able to persuade an IT technician to let you into. an office and so one and so forth. There are 12 skill trees, with Body having 3 branches, reflex having 3, tech hacking two as well as intelligence and cool having, two. Body has trees such as Athletics, Street Brawler. and annihilation. Under Athletics we have gladiator, which reduces. damage taken while blocking by 20%, regeneration which slowly regenerates health in combat, pack mule which doubles carrying capacity, invincible which increases max health by 10%,. super hero landing, which reduces fall damage by 5%, Multitasker which lets you shoot while, sprinting sliding and jumping, Transporter which lets you shoot and sprint while carrying, a body, and hard MF which buffs armor and resistance by 20% for 10 seconds at the start. of a fight. Street brawler seems to have 20 skills with hand to hand combat, and annihilation has 19 skills which are based heavily in shotguns and heavy weapons A trait sits at the bottom of the tree which. is the most powerful skill and requires the activation of all previous ones in most cases. Skill trees will also level up with actual use of your weapon and allow you to obtain extra bonuses like bleeding or staggering, effects as you use them more. There’s also some new crafting and engineering, skills to go through. First under the crafting tree we have Master. gunsmith which gives you a 5% chance of getting an additional prototype component as crafting material for every item made. There is also R&D which enables you to upgrade items to the legendary quality level, and crazy science which is a trait which means the best skill down the tree which increases the sales prices of your items by 25%. The engineering skills are as follows. We have mech looter which means you can loot, scrap from drones, robots and mechs and have a 30% change of finding weapon parts, blast. shielding which reduces your explosion damage taken by 10&, shrapnel which adds 20 additional, damage to prior effects, grenadier which makes the explosion radius of grenades visible to, you, reverse engineering which allows you to take off weapon mods and you can’t touch, this which makes yourself immune to the effects of your own grenades. Personally, I’m all in on the body and reflex. attributes, I just want to be an utter war machine and pump out as much damage as humanly or inhumanely as possible. Next we have some lifepath details from the Corporate backstory. There might be some minor spoilers here so, if you want to go into Cyberpunk 2077, you should probably click off the video here. Saburo Arasaka the CEO of Arasaka from back in the 2020 timeline is still alive at the,


age of 158 and a propaganda film about his life plays in the Arasaka Tower in which the, Corpo lifepath starts. We were wondering about this for quite some. time, so add another lore standout to the roster we will likely be seeing in 2077. There are also some very interesting items found in the tower that are deeply steeped in the source material. One is a biography of Richard Night, whom. Night City was named after, a brochure from NetWatch, as well as an Ad for the crystal. palace, an orbital retreat for the super-rich. A retro gaming magazine with Witcher 3 as. game of the month is also found, and yes Ciri adorns the cover. I don’t know about you guys but knowing. about the source and the lore might just be more important than we thought to really enjoy. a first playthrough with the amount of fan service Easter eggs we might be seeing. I’ll leave the rest of the Lifepath details for you guys to read in this article, or to check out in my prior videos. Let’s move onto the menu and maps oddly. enough one of my favorite parts of this write-up. The menu is described really nicely here as. the same red and blue contrast as what was seem in the Grimes 4AM music video. The background has a blue gradient and the texts are reddish. In the start menu you will have a map of the game, a journal to track quests, news, databases about the game world, the inventory and the. character menu. The game world is also a 3D map in the same color tone as the menus. From a bird’s eye view Andre mentions that the map does look like the cover of the LE of the 2077 lore book which we saw earlier,, and the markers were extensive including the ones shown on screen. The inventory is divided into your backpack,, equipment and cyberware. Clothes are distributed by headgear, on the, face layers, two layers for the upper body and pants and shoes. Cyberware mods or fragments as they are called have 4 slots in the inventory. When it comes to armor versus making a fashion, statement CDPR have done something that will appeal to a wider audience with separating appearance and properties. Fabric mods can be applied to your clothing, to upgrade them to increase your armor. A simple yet satisfying way to blend style and substance. Items, Weapons and Cyberware upgrades have, 6 quality levels going from ordinary, to unusual to rare to epic to legendary to iconic. Iconic items are one of a kind with the example here being the chaos pistol wielded by Royce. Cyberware slots here are super extensive at, least in my opinion with 3 slots available for the brain, one for the eyes, 3 for the. cardiovascular system, 2 for the immune system, 2 for the nervous system, 3 for skin, 1 for your operating system, and the skeletal system having 1 for the hand, 1 for the arm, and 1 for each leg. Some examples of cyberware here are the mantis blades which comes in different versions via fragments, blood pumps which are installed. in the cardiovascular slot, which improves healing, micro-rotors which are passive in the nervous system and improve movement speed and precision, reflex tuners which active, slow motion when your health falls below a certain value, the gorilla hands and mono. wire we have already seen, kerenzikov slow motion which we saw in inhaler form, as well, as synlungs which improve endurance or stamina regeneration. You can craft weapons, weapon mods, armor, daemons, cyberware and more. Hacking has also received a progressive revamp where the mini game is no longer necessary. The hacking mini game which is now named Breach, will increase your Cyberdeck memory allowing you to chain or issue higher resource programs, but again it is no longer necessary. Some of the daemons seen were the short circuit. hack which overloads an opponent’s cyberware, overheating which is a combustion overload, burning the enemy, SOS signal which fakes a squad members emergency call drawing out the enemy into line of sight, Suicide which puts the target into cyberpsychosis killing, them with their own weapon, optics reset which resets a targets eye implants, triggering. blindness, and a weapon malfunction.,
