Hey Everybody! It's Angie from Trips with Angie and in this video I'm going to show you how to use the Carnival Hub App. The first thing you'll do is download the app. You can download it through the Google Play Store or through the App Store. Then once you're onboard the ship you want to connect to the ship's Wi-Fi. The easiest way to do this is . to put your phone in airplane mode and then find the Carnival Wi-Fi, this is free, you do not need an internet package to do this. When you open the Carnival Hub App this is what you'll see. So if . you click on the day and where you are, that will give you your entire cruise's itinerary. So if , you have any questions about what time you'll be arriving in port or when you're back onboard time is, you can scroll ahead and see what's happening each day. If you want to go back you just click , the arrow in the upper left. The weather report is available for every day. I love this on the , Carnival Hub App, you don't have to have another app to figure out what your weather is going to be, so I think that's so great. Then you click, you can click on my planner. So this will tell you , anything you've marked that seemed interesting to you in the daily program. If you want to see . the full daily program, at the bottom you'll click What's Happening. This will show you all of , the activities that are happening onboard. Now if you want to remember to go to one you just click the heart next to it, then it will appear in My Planner that it was something that you marked. . Now you see here, it says AL and GS? Well GS is my cabin mate. So if we go back you can see in My Planner under What's Happening it'll say plus one or plus two. So if you have not marked it with a , heart but there's a person with a one that means your cabin mate has marked it as something they , may be interested in. Going back and scrolling down, there's a What's Happening Now giving you the highlights of things that are going on, things that may be coming up that you want to add , to your schedule. You also have a ship map, so you have any questions about where things are. One . of my favorite features of this ship map is the search function. So if let's say someone says meet , me on the Lido Deck, you can type in Lido and it will tell you where that is or if you're like oh I really hungry I want one of those Guys Burgers. You can click Guys Burgers Joint and it will show , you exactly where it is on the ship map, so you know how to get there. You can also look at all . of the different spots onboard. So you get a good overview of what's available by Entertainment. If you want to see where all the entertainment options are, where all the restaurants are and , then if you click on it that will take you back to that map view. Heading back if you're curious . about what you need to wear to dinner tonight, it will tell you there's casual attire and then .

cruise elegant, kind of your dress fancy night. You can keep going and it has things you may , like. Now um I have never expressed an interest in hair extensions so I'm not exactly sure what the . algorithm here is that is matching you with what things you might like. I think it's things they're , just trying to promote. If you're interested in Shore Excursions you can click there, it will show you what your excursions are available. So we are in our last port of call on this cruise that's why you're not seeing anything for a particular port of call. You can make your spa treatment bookings and reservations. You have both the spa, which is your massage therapies and then . the salon which is your haircuts and nails. The Pixels, My Photo, so if you've taken any . photos around the ship those will all show up here right in your app. You don't have to go to . the Pixels store location if you don't want to. You can also take a look at the casino, if you want to see you know what your current points are, what your player bank are and view your full players account and any of the upcoming promotions happening within the casino. Then . Food Order, this is where you'll be able to order food to your stateroom or any area on the , ship. So for instance if you're sitting at a bar, the Carnival Bar and Lounge and you're hungry. You . can choose to send your room service there or you can obviously have it go right to your cabin. . The room service is an extra charge, except for a very small continental breakfast menu that's . available in your cabin. So you would just add what you want, click continue, you can add a drink . if you want, at for an extra charge. The drinks package does not apply to this and then you just . complete and it will charge your onboard account. I don't want to order food now, so we're , going to back out of that. Then where to eat, now this is an awesome feature. You're hot, you're tired, you're coming in from port, everybody's hungry, just scroll down to where . to eat now. This will show you what food menus are currently open, if you want to go check those . out and where they are. And then Cruise Packages, so access Wi-Fi. So if you've bought a Wi-Fi package or want to buy a Wi-Fi package that's available here. Now remember you can connect to . the Carnival Wi-Fi to use the app for free, you do not need to purchase an internet package for . that. Some additional features that are available are a chat feature. You can pay five dollars for , a chat plan. Now let's navigate back to the main menu and take a look at food and drinks. Part . of the fun of cruising you can see all of the restaurants that are open under the Food Tab , and then you can see all the bars under the Drinks Tab. So you want to page down, you can see . what's open now, what's going to be open later, if you have Anytime Dining you can take a peek at .

the menu. Now this will be the same menu if you have a set dining time as well. You just click view menu and will bring up what is going to be that evening menu. I love taking a sneak peek. Do you? Let me know in the comments. Do you want it to be a surprise when you get to the dining room . or do you like having a sneak peek in advance? The other fun part is that you could take a look at the menus for all of the specialty dining restaurants. So if you're trying to decide maybe . if you want to go to Bonsai Teppanyaki or not, you click that view menu. It will bring up the , menu and you can see all the options that are there. So for instance at Bonsai Teppanyaki you can choose from any of the appetizers, you choose your entree and then you have a dessert. When . the restaurant is open you'll have the chance to check into dine. You select what members , of your cabin are going to be eating together, indicate if you want to share a table, click check . and guess and then you'll give a waiting time for how long it'll probably be until you're assigned a table. When your table is ready, you'll get the table number. So you see here the table number , is three, two, three. You click on your way to let them know you're coming and then once you get . to the dining room they'll show you right to your table. Option of looking at the kids and teens . programming. So if you've brought younger ones with you their programming is going to be under , this separate line item which is available when you click the three bars in the upper left. And . Wall of Moments, so this is kind of fun, if you tag Carnival they kind of show the photos that are . people are taking throughout the journey. I'm not going to show you those because people didn't , agree to that. Open Times, will tell you what entertainment areas are open and for how long. . So for instance, if you want to know how long the Splash Park was open, then you hear Carnival , Waterworks is open from 7 am from 9 am to 7:30 pm. Safety Onboard is going to be your information , about your muster station. You can also watch the how to don your life jacket video and hear . the emergency signal in case you have any questions about that. Good to Know is just general information about the policies onboard Carnival. Then your Account Summary, so this will tell you , what your current set of charges is and if you have I any questions about that head to Guest Services. I, I highly recommend checking this every couple days while you're on the sailing to make it easier to solve any issues that may come up and then Feedback.
