Tech billionaire and Twitter owner Elon Musk has displayed his distaste for the media after setting the social media company's press email to auto reply with a poop emoji.
Musk has had a long-held dislike for press, and has constantly tweeted about how he doesn't like or trust any of it
And he has now taken that one step further by turning the email journalists and media organisations would use to ask Twitter for comments or press enquiries into a joke.

The Daily Star tried emailing [email protected], only to be hit with the childish emoji in response.
Musk announced that he had made this happen earlier today (March 19).
He tweeted: “[email protected] now auto responds with (poop emoji).”
The Daily Star sent an email asking if he was really doing that . . . and the auto response came back with the aforementioned symbol.
This does beg the question of how anyone in the media is meant to contact Twitter about serious issues, however, as Musk has now cut off the main way of doing so.
His tweet announcing the bizarre move was seen more than 9.2 million times, retweeted around 3,425 times, and amassed 41.7k likes.

Musk has had a tumultuous recent relationship with the world's media, slamming it for being a “relentless hatestream” of bad news, as well as constantly claiming that pretty much everything printed is either not real or “racist” against white and Asian people, as he did just last month.
And it now appears that he wants nothing to do with any mainstream media outlets whatsoever, having turned the contact email into a joke.
His tweet bout the decision went down as well as could be expected on the social media site.

One person wrote: “Huh, same as general user experience then.”
While another posted: “I hope to see that in every article going forward: 'we reached out to twitter for comment, who gave the statement (poop emoji).”
The Daily Star reached out to Twitter for a comment.
A spokesman said: "(poop emoji)"
