Truss to plan leaving do soon as Johnson returns for sympathy, says psychic

Prime Minister Liz Truss could be planning her leaving do very soon, according to a leading psychic.

Truss, who started her role as PM and leader of the Conservative Party on September 6, has been embroiled in controversy having tanked the UK economy last week thanks to Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng's mini-budget.

And having had given a terrible round of media interviews to several local BBC radio stations earlier today, world-renowned psychic Inbaal Honigman has given the embattled leader a Tarot card reading – and has worked out exactly when Liz Truss should be planning her “goodbye drinks”.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, she said: “The card that comes up for Liz Truss's leadership is the Knight of Wands.

“The Wands cards are linked with the element of fire, which is the quickest of all the elements, and is quite a destructive element at that.

“The Knight court cards in the Tarot are masculine in nature and like being in control.

“This card, when applied to Truss's length of leadership, doesn't represent a long and stable period. Quite the opposite – this specific card suggests a short, explosive term.

“Fire star sign Aries is the one most associated with this card, so by the March 12, 2023, at the start of Aries season, Liz Truss's party may be planning her goodbye drinks.”

Inbaal is an expert in Tarot card readings.

The cards have been used for more than 500 years and involve 78 illustrated cards representing people and situations encountered in life.

The most popular use of the Tarot cards is in clarifying the present and predicting the future. And this, she has also done for the country's economic madness.

Less than comfortingly, Inbaal claims the cards show the nation is on a “confusing trajectory”, but that “hope prevails, but the road is long”.

She explained: “The Moon is a major card in the Tarot, representing big life changes and overcoming challenges, and here it tells us that some prices will stabilise before Christmas, but there's still a long way to go.

“Next year is hard – the Ten of Wands shows up for the country's economic climate, which peaks of carrying a heavy burden, so mistakes from the past will come back to haunt us and any attempts to resuscitate the economy will be fruitless.

“Looking back, it will become clear that previous chancellors and premiers have been deceitful with the public.

“The pound will find its feet again.”

Speaking of past leaders, Boris Johnson will make a return in some form she claimed – however, not in a role of power.

And it won't be for a happy reason, either.

The card pulled out for the former PM and Mayor of London was the 10 of Swords, which is a card representing “heartbreak and anxiety”.

He will, the cards claim, return to the limelight in search of “sympathy”.

“The Ten of Swords is one of the most challenging cards in the deck, it speaks of utter devastation,” she explains.

“Johnson's saving grace is his ability to bounce back from failure, and write a book about it.

“The other card in the mix here is the Prince of Swords, negatively aspected – the Prince shown here is one who uses his wit to break free, but as the card is negatively presented here, it means that Johnson will not use his wit to break free, but rather stick around, hoping for the best.”

The cards also show there is no return to power for the Labour Party, either.
