A teenager and a young family friend caught more than they bargained for when they dragged out an entire arsenal of guns and ammo when on a fishing trip at a south London lake.
James White, 15, was on a day out at Linear Park in Bromley with a five-year-old family friend and the young child's father when the pair dredged up the contraband haul.
The trio had been swimming in the lake before they decided to try their luck at catching fish, reports MyLondon.

However, as James walked in the water, he slipped on what later turned out to be "three magazines from a gun".
It was the first find of a bigger stash, as nearby the children discovered a large cache of dumped guns and explosives.
James told MyLondon: "When I found them I said 'I wish it was a bad dream,' but it wasn't a dream and then I found a cone shape and I said 'it might be an explosive'.
"Then I found another set of guns and another cone that looked like an explosive."

The group reportedly found between six and 11 guns, as well as two separate devices which they can only describe as 'explosives'.
They also found several bullets and "magazines" from all the guns which had been "taken apart", in addition to the other guns that they found.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Police were called to Winsford Road, SE6, at 4.49pm on Saturday, August 6 to reports of firearms found in a river. Officers attended.

A Leicester schoolboy has also fished out a huge collection of weapons from waterways around Nottinghamshire after taking up magnet fishing, Nottinghamshire Live reports.
His stash of arsenal includes two unexploded grenades, two military officers handguns, two pistols, a Pinfire Revolver 1880, and a machete.
