Moment boozy Brit is booted from Ryanair flight for ‘barging into’ passengers

The moment a boozy Brit was booted from her Ryanair flight home to the UK was captured on camera.

Fellow passenger Lyndsay Cash had already boarded the flight from Ibiza to Manchester Airport when the kick-off broke out a few rows in front of her.

It is understood that a fuming passenger confronted the woman for allegedly barging into her before calling her a “drunk”.

It was then when the row escalated and the woman was kicked off the flight home from the party town on August 21.

43-year-old Cash’s footage shows a woman in a pink top standing in the aisle as they argue with another woman sitting in the airline's seats.

They are then pulled away in a headlock as someone shouts “I will find you” repeatedly.

Kick-offs then continue developing into a mid-aisle battle while men – believed to be family members – try to intervene.

The passenger accused of being “drunk” then attempts to smack the other passenger before they are dragged backwards.

Meanwhile, small children can be heard sobbing in fear of the violent outburst.

Police escorted all those involved in the brawl from the plane – and Cash claims the woman even attempted to fight the officers.

The flight was delayed by an hour and a half due to the brawl, and Cash believes that Ryanair should not have let the woman on the flight at all.

She posted footage of the fight on Facebook before take-off where it quickly went viral.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed one man and one woman were arrested on suspicion of being drunk on board an aircraft and assaulting police officers.

Lyndsay, from Wigan, Greater Manchester, said: "She was barging into everyone the second she got on the plane.

"She was drunk and when someone pointed that out she took offence and started kicking off with everyone.

"They just started fighting in the aisle and it got really aggressive.

"The stewardesses weren't much use and kids were upset. I wasn't happy with the way it was managed.

"It annoyed me and everyone else on the plane. Everyone clapped as she got escorted off and she even fought with police.

"I don't think she should have been let on the plane and I think the stewards should have been much quicker. It was left for the passengers to deal with.

"If you can't handle it, don't drink."

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called at around 3pm yesterday (Monday 21 August) to reports of disruptive passengers on board a flight taking off from Manchester Airport.

"Two men in their 30s and one woman, also in her 30s, have all been arrested on suspicion of being drunk on board an aircraft. One of the men and the woman were further arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officers. They all remain in custody for questioning."

A Ryanair spokesperson said: "This flight from Manchester to Ibiza (21 Aug) was delayed ahead of take-off when a small number of passengers became disruptive. These passengers were removed from the aircraft by local police and the flight continued safely to Ibiza following a short delay.

"This is now a matter for local police. We sincerely apologise to affected passengers for any inconvenience caused as a result of these passengers' disruptive behaviour."
