A homeowner was left baffled after a stranger carrying a box of cereal knocked on his door at midnight asking for some milk.
Craig Allen said he received the bizarre request from the man who desperately wanted to enjoy his Crunchy Nut Cornflakes.
He captured the strange moment on his Ring doorbell in the Penlan area of Swansea in the early hours of Wednesday (July 6) morning.

The opportunist was filmed holding the box in his left hand shortly after 12.20 am and was turned down by a confused Craig, reports Wales Online.
In the video, the man, dressed in a beanie hat and hoodie, walks up to the house and rings the bell.
An automated voice from the security doorbell system then responds by saying “please wait, it may take me a moment to answer”.
The man with the cereal box then introduces himself and says “I can’t pinch some milk off you by any chance?”.
Mr Allen, having opened the door despite the inconvenient hour, refuses instantly, telling the hungry door knocker: “F*** off mate.”
The man then apologises and calmly walks off. Mr Allen, who shared the clip on social media to much hilarity, said he was just about to go to bed when the unusual request occurred.

“We were just locking up and getting ready for bed when the doorbell rang,” he said.
“I don’t know what he would have done if I had given him some milk, just scooped it out of the box? I don’t know!”
People took to social media to comment on the random encounter.
One person said: "Look at him parading his wealth around. Who can even afford branded cereal anymore?"
Another commented: "Don't answer the door, he could be a cereal killer!"
While a third wrote: "He knocked [ on ] mine too & my neighbours must have had a major munchies situation going on."
