Prince William and Kate Middleton will wait until the right time" for their son Prince George to leave London, a royal expert has said.
Following his eighth birthday earlier in July, there has been much speculation the young royal could be sent away to boarding school soon – as his dad Prince William was eight years old when he started at Ludgrove School in Berkshire.
George currently attends Thomas's School in Battersea, but the prince could follow in his dad's footsteps and move to a boarding school.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are said to have been looking at schools in Berkshire and George may also go to Ludgrove School, which would be near his grandparents the Middletons and the Queen's base at Windsor Castle.
And now Gertrude Daly, who runs the Gerts Royal Replies website, has told the Daily Star she thinks the Cambridges will "work hard" to make sure Prince George will have a "positive experience" if he does eventually leave the capital for boarding school.
She said: "We have seen some royals have terrible experiences at boarding school, while others have thrived.
"I think both Prince William and Duchess Kate will work hard to make this a positive experience.

Last year, Royal expert Ingrid Seward exclusively told OK! magazine that "shy" Prince George "might not have the right character for boarding school just yet".

She said: "Kate and William are modern parents and will weigh up the decision very carefully.
"I think they’ll wait to see how the children’s personalities develop, and take into consideration whether or not they would be happy to live away from home.
"Having experienced terrible trauma in his own childhood, William is very tuned in to his children’s mental health."
Last month, a royal source told the Daily Mail: "Nothing has been decided and of course they could very well decide to keep the children at Thomas’s, but William and Kate have recently visited schools in the Berkshire area, which has got a lot of people talking."
