Harry ‘shot himself in foot’ with ‘hatchet job memoir’ as he becomes UK ‘pariah’

Prince Harry’s new memoir has been dubbed a ‘shot in the foot’ for the Duke of Sussex as one expert calls it a “spectacular own goal”.

The Duke recently released his highly anticipated memoir, Spare, earlier this month a number of claims about the Royal Family.

From his heated confrontations with his brother Prince William to his frostbitten penis, Harry’s memoir causes quite a stir.

However, one royal expert believes Harry has “shot himself in the foot” with his revelations

Speaking to the Express, Nile Gardiner said: "Harry's book is a desperate and deeply cynical attack on the Royal Family which has clearly backfired in a massive way.

"The backlash against the book has been absolutely spectacular. Harry is now a pariah in the UK and also increasingly unpopular in the US.

"He has really shot himself in the foot with his hatchet job memoir. It has been a spectacular own goal for Harry."

Mr Gardiner went on to call Harry and Meghan “the most unpopular couple in the modern history of the British monarchy.”

He also commented on their popularity in the US, claiming the Sussexes were becoming unpopular across the pond.

Mr Gardiner's comments come as the bizarre story of Harry's frostbitten todger has helped increase sales of the cream he used.

Sales of Elizabeth Arden’s Eight-hour Cream have skyrocketed after Harry claimed he used it on his frostbitten penis.

Boots bosses say sales for the £29 product are up by 60% – and online searches have shot up by more than 180%.

Hannah Stern, Boots beauty trainer, said: “Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is a must-have multi-tasker.

“It can be used on various parts of the body, making it a versatile addition to your skincare routine.”

She added: “It’s no surprise this product is so iconic, you truly can use it from head to toe.”
