Another storm system bringing snow is expected in Denver, but not until early to mid-next week, meaning it’s a weekend of enjoyable weather.
According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, some areas near Winter Park dropped to negative 30 degrees overnight. Denver bottomed out at 11 degrees as some of the coldest air of winter will come in next week.
On Friday, we’ll warm all the way up to 47 degrees under sunny skies. The low is 22 degrees. Breezy conditions are expected over the mountains, north and far eastern plains. There may be areas of blowing snow possible over portions of the plains that have enough snow on the ground.
Saturday will be a sunny 53 degrees with a low of 22 degrees.
Sunday should mirror Saturday with about the same weather.
Next week will begin with about the same weather pattern as we experience this weekend before snow is expected to arrive by Tuesday.
