The odds on March being the coldest on record have been slashed by a leading bookmarker.
Large parts of the UK are currently battling heavy snow storms, with temperatures dropping to sub-zero everywhere.
And while weather charts are showing that the Yellow warnings issued by the Met Office are due to end tomorrow (Friday, March 10), the rest of the month is still going to be extremely cold.

This has prompted the experts at bookmarker Coral to slash the odds on March being the coldest ever from 5-4 to 1-2.
The firm also makes it 3-1 for the River Thames to freeze over this month, and it is just 6-4 for snow to come down in April in the UK.
And they have ranked it at 5-4 for snow to fall during the Cheltenham Festival next week.
“Temperatures are going to continue to fall over the next few days, as are our odds on this month ending as a record cold March," said Coral's John Hill.
“This cold snap is unlikely to be going away soon, so we would not be surprised to see snowfall at Cheltenham Festival next week, while we have also slashed the odds on the River Thames freezing over this month.”

The last time the Thames froze was in the record-setting winter of January, 1963, and prior to that it was 1814 and 1789.
The coldest March temperature ever recorded was on March 14, 1958 when it reached a shockingly cold low of -22.8C.
This happened at Logie Coldstone in Aberdeenshire.

However, earlier this week, on Monday (March 6), it did drop to -15C in the Highlands, which was beaten just 24 hours later in Altnaharra.
The temperature there was recorded as low as -16c, the coldest March nights since 2010 when the mercury recorded -18.6C in Braemar.

A Met Office spokesman said: "Further snow (will hit tonight) across parts of Wales, the Midlands, northern England, Northern Ireland and southern Scotland, heaviest snow northern England. Rain at times in the far south.
"Friday will see early rain and snow across England and Wales clearing southwards, sunshine following with snow showers in the east.
"Sunny spells in Scotland and Northern Ireland, but a snow showers too."
