Bond girl Olga Kurylenko gets coronavirus and says she’s in self-isolation

Bond girl Olga Kurylenko says she is suffering from coronavirus.

Ms Kurylenko, 40, star of James Bond film Quantum of Solace, says she is now self-isolating.

She says she is eating garlic because she claims it will help boost her immune system.

The actress said: “I have cough only in the morning, then I do not have any cough at all.

“Unfortunately, we have no cure for this virus. We must wait until it passes.”

She has had French citizenship since 2001 and Russian reports said she has lived in London for around a decade.

However, she did not say where she is undergoing quarantine.

The Soviet-born star told her 567,000 followers: “To bring down the temperature, they said to take Paracetamol, which I do.

"That's all. Nothing more to do. Of course, I still take vitamins for myself like that. And I eat garlic, just for the immune system.

"I drink water. Squeeze lemons in water. That's all."

The star posted a picture a showing a view through a window in her home where she is in quarantine.

Mother-of-one Kurylenko – originally from Ukraine rose to fame as a model grew after being discovered in Moscow at the age 13.

She is best known for the 007 movie when she played Bond girl Camille Montes and sci-fi film Oblivion where she starred opposite Tom Cruise.

She also featured in The Death of Stalin and The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.
