The 2020 MotorTrend Car of the Year winner Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is getting its big upgrade this month as the 2023 Corvette Z06 opens its order books and finally drops its pricing for the coupe and convertible. The C8 Z06 starts at $106,395, and we wager it’d be worthwhile to splurge a little more for the hot Z07 Performance Package upgrade.

Here’s a quick pricing breakdown for the Z06 Coupe and Convertible:

 CoupeConvertible
1LZ$106,395$113,895
2LZ$115,595$122,595
3LZ$120,245$127,245

The Z07 package is tied to the available Carbon Aero Package, so you’ll be paying for both for the upgrade. The Z07 Package includes the popular FE7 suspension upgrade, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, underbody strakes, and Michelin Pilot Cup 2R ZP tires, alongside one of two available Carbon Aero Packages. It’s fundamentally the very successful C8.R racecar’s mill rebuilt for the street, managing a prodigious output while still meeting applicable regulations.

In the pricing and availability announcement, Chevrolet also pointed out that the Z06 remains a fantastic price proposition for its performance level, undercutting competitors, calling out the Audi R8, Lamborghini Húracan Evo, Ferrari F8 Tributo, McLaren 720S, and Porsche 911 GT3, all of which cost between $140,000 and $300,000.
